MBT has reached a milestone last September, celebrating 12 Years of community-driven gaming, both competitively and casually. MBT has grown from a team focusing on the Battlefield franchise since its founding in 15 September 2006 to a bigger organization with esports teams in multiple titles, backed by a big community of up to 160 gamers today.

At their 12Th Year Anniversary event, MBT announced their latest esports roster for 2019 in titles, PUBG, Rainbow Six: Siege and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. MBT is dedicated to growing these teams and providing them the support needed to achieve continuous domestic success and greater international success. MBT MinumKopiJap, currently among the best PUBG teams in Malaysia, is aiming to achieve better placement in the next PUBG SEA Championship, last held at Bangkok, Thailand – where they represented Malaysia. MBT is dedicated to growing their Rainbow Six: Siege team, MBT Impetus, currently representing Malaysia in the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 9 SEA. “We are currently growing the team by supporting and investing into great players and a coach to achieve greater success in the ESL Pro League.” said Kiri Kaniathran, MBT Council and Team Manager. MBT announced their latest partners with the logos visible on their new Esports jersey. Among them were their first sponsors, Cooler Master, a leader in design and manufacturing computer components and peripherals, and Emarque, custom PC manufacturer. New partners include known gaming hardware brand, ASUS ROG – Republic of Gamers and NVIDIA.

MBT LAN PARTY

Sticking to its community gaming roots, MBT also announced an upcoming LAN party for the gaming community later this year. MBT was part of the Guinness World Record for the Longest LAN Party back in Cyberfusion 2009. Being heavily involved in LAN parties over the years, MBT became the organizer of Cyberfusion 2015, the largest LAN party in South East Asia.

All of MBT’s Esports players are sponsored and equipped with the best gaming peripherals and components by Cooler Master. “All of MBT members, both the esports teams and community members, are using Cooler Master products ranging from their casual PC accessories to their most advanced PC components and gaming peripherals.” said Cheok Huei Keat from MBT Management. Domino’s was the official food & beverage sponsor for the event – sponsoring delicious pizzas for the gamers. Domino’s recently announced Domino’s Esports to support the needs and development of the eSports community in Malaysia. Also present at the event was gaming apparel and lifestyle brand, GANK, who is currently MBT’s gaming apparel partner for their latest esports jerseys and more to come.The event was attended by the MBT community, esports industry partners, media, brand reps and esports teams.
